I've managed to maintain a daily practice for a little over a year and a half. Some days, it's a struggle to get the body moving. Today, it was natural.
Sunlight spills across the veranda. Skies are blue. Not a cloud in sight. It's 64 degrees F. The air is dry. There's a gentle breeze. I moved through a series of poses. Sun salutations. Welcoming the day. Moving the body.
Here at 8,000 feet, the air is thin. The breath still comes easy. I breathe with the movement. I soak in the morning alone. It is as close to a perfect day as I've seen in a long time.
