Here we are, back in Texas. I come here a lot. I have some amazing attorneys who get crazy cases here and they seem to like my work. So, here we are again, back in Texas.
Today is just another day. I am on the road, but it's nothing more than another day. I hopped a flight this morning. It was an early flight and Kim, my partner and best friend and coconspirator in all things adventure, drove me to the airport at 6:00 am. We said goodby. I cleared security in about 2 minutes and sat down to read.
I continued reading on my flight. I'm reading another book by Thich Nhat Hahn. I have grown to adore his writing. I don't always agree with his point of view, but I respect him and have gained a lot from taking in his words over the past year.
I met my attorney friend Frank in Dallas and we flew together to our home for the next several days. We rented a car, checked in to our AirBnB and provisioned at the local market. I'm now sitting in my room and taking a few minutes to make good on my promise to write one blog post each day.
My next step for the day is to take an hour or so to move through some poses. My favorite yoga studio here is not open on Sundays, so I'll be moving through a road yoga sequence.
Tomorrow, I hit the studio and take in a practice with some local yogis.
