The alarm sounded at 3:40 am. I rolled out of bed, begrudgingly.
Shower. Call Uber. Ride to the airport.
This is when the fun began. TSA was a goat rodeo. People breathing through their mouths, furtively looking around, confused. My patience was not high.
We cleared. We boarded. We flew.
9:30 am. Land in Albuquerque, NM. Rent car. Drive north. Santa Fe. Check in. Rest.
We had dinner. We got to spend a few minutes with one of my favorite couples, Pam and Chad. We slept hard and long.
All in all, it was a fantastic day.
