Josh and Lauren came to dinner tonight. Josh is a pretty well respected chef, who's happened onto the cover of Food and Wine on occasion. He's got skills.
Clara, our semi-adopted Cambodian part-time daughter, and I made ribs two ways. I chose the traditional West TN dry version. She opted for a classic Cambodian version, which includes soy, oyster, and other sauces. They were both amazing.
We, the lot of us, sat around the big dining room table and shared a fantastic meal of pork and greens and corn and varieties of homemade bread.
It was lovely.
